Authorities hold public outreach programme at Aragam
Bandipora, Dec 4: To bring governance and administrative services closer to the people, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri Wednesday presided over a mega public outreach programme at Aragam, Bandipora.
The initiative aims to ensure that residents have easy access to government resources and support within their communities.
The event served as a platform for residents to engage directly with district officials, highlighting their concerns and seeking resolutions. A wide range of issues were discussed during the program, covering key sectors such as education, infrastructure, healthcare, water supply, and electricity.
Speaking at the event, the DC emphasised that the purpose of these outreach programmes is to address the specific needs of each block, ensuring that no genuine grievance is left unaddressed. He reiterated the district administration’s commitment to the holistic development of the region and its people.
The DC further highlighted that as societal and community needs evolve, the government is steadfast in its efforts to adapt and address emerging challenges effectively. He assured the public that all departments are working in close coordination to ensure the timely resolution of issues raised during such programs.
Among others, the event was attended by District Development Council member for Hajin-B, Ghulam Mustafa Khan; Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Planning Officer, Chief Medical Officer, CAO, CHO, DSWO, public representatives and a large gathering of the general public.
