Syed Abdul Bari Andrabi chairs DDC meeting

Srinagar, Dec 4: A meeting of the District Development Council (DDC) Pulwama was chaired by its chairperson Syed Abdul Bari Andrabi to deliberate on the district capex budget for the financial year 2024- 2025 and to smoothen the execution of the works

The meeting was attended by DDC members and district and sectoral officers of the district, a press release said. During the session a thorough discussion was held on various aspects including estimation process, accord of administrative approvals , cost escalations and other challenges hindering the project implementation.The chairperson emphasised the importance of addressing these loopholes to ensure timely execution of developmental works.

Andrabi urged all officers to maintain transparency and adhere to deadlines while prioritising public welfare projects

He also impressed upon the general public to stay in touch with concerned DDC members n to bring to their notice any impediment in the execution of works which he will be monitoring personally
