Arrangements for counting process assessed in Kulgam

Kulgam, Oct 4: In preparation for the upcoming vote counting scheduled on October 8, the District Election Officer (DEO) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, along with SSP Kulgam, Sahil Sarangal, today conducted a comprehensive inspection of the Counting Centre established at Government Degree College Kulgam.

During the visit, the DEO reviewed all necessary arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the counting process.

The arrangements inspected included seating provisions for staff and stakeholders, as well as other essential facilities.

In addition, the DEO closely examined the physical infrastructure, such as barricading for a hassle-free process, provisions for IT and communication systems, and security measures.

The DEO emphasized strict adherence to Election Commission guidelines and directed continuous monitoring of the arrangements to ensure transparency and efficiency.

Accompanying the DEO were ROs, the Deputy DEO, and other officers.
