Arms, ammunition recovered in Kupwara

Kupwara, July 2: A significant cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from Nangari forest in Dardpora Kralpora area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, a police official said on Tuesday.

He said that based on specific inputs, a joint operation was launched by police, army and BSF in the general area of Nangari forest, Dardpora Kralpora area.

"The operation yielded a cache of arms, ammunition and explosives, including 8 AK magazines, 445 live AK rounds, 1 pistol, 3 pistol magazines, 13 live pistol rounds and a hand grenade," he added.
