Body of drowned youth retrieved from Jhelum in Bandipora

Srinagar, July 05: A body of a youth who drowned in river Jhelum while taking a bath in north Kashmir's Bandipora district a day ago, has been retrieved on Friday.

Reports reaching to news agency Kashmir Scroll said that Nadeem Ahmad (19) son of Zahoor Ahmad resident of Mir Mohalla Hajin drowned in river Jhelum while taking a bath on Thursday.

Soon after the incident a rescue operation was started and the body was retrieved on Friday morning.

Police have taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
