Accused arrested after 18 years from Punjab

Ramban, May 27: Doda Police arrested a proclaimed offender, a criminal involved in the killings of two civilians after a gap of 18 years from Punjab on Monday.

Police identified the criminal Ghulam Qadir son of Maher Bakesh resident of Malath Tehsil Gandoh, Doda.

Police sources said Ghulam Qadir resident of Malath Tehsil Gandoh was involved in the killings of two civilians Abdul Latief resident of tehsil Chilly Pingal of Doda and Mohd Ishaq resident of Malath Tehsil Gandoh, Doda. He was wanted in two separate FIRs, number 103 of 2006 and FIR number 57 of 2007 registered under sections 302/307, RPC, and 7/27 Arms Act at Police Station Gundoh.
