AC gives nod to operational guidelines for J&K Start-up Policy 2024-2027

Srinagar, Aug 16: The government on Friday said that the Administrative Council, which was chaired by J&K LG, Manoj Sinha approved the operational guidelines for the Jammu and Kashmir Startup Policy (2024-2027).

The AC approved the operational guidelines which has provisions related to start-up recognition, access of seed funding-eligibility, process of filing application, short listing and selection, disbursal of seed funds, funding guidelines, start-up awards for encouraging entrepreneurship, incubators and market access for growth of start-ups, networking and collaborations between start-ups.

The Administrative Council in its earlier meeting held on 19.02.2024, had approved the said policy.

JKEDI shall be Nodal agency for the policy implementation, read an official handout.

These operational guidelines shall nurture and inspire the entrepreneurial talent of Jammu and Kashmir by creating a vibrant Start-up ecosystem, said the official handout.

Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Atal Dulloo, Chief Secretary, Dr.Mandeep K Bhandari, Principal Secretary to Lieutenant Governor participated in the meeting.
