Absconder arrested at Nowshera

Rajouri, Dec 12: Police in Nowshera area of Rajouri nabbed an absconder who was wanted in motor-vehicle accident case.

He has been identified as Shah Nawaz son of Jamat Ali Shah resident of Samote Kotranka of District Rajouri.

A team of police led by SHO Nowshera, Sumit Magotra arrested the absconder at Nowshera, said police.

The accused was evading his arrest for long in case FIR No.112/2019 U/S 279, 338 IPC of police station Nowshera and a general warrant U/s 299 Cr.PC was issued against him by the Court of Sub-Judge Naushera.

After his arrest, the accused was produced before Sub-Jugde Nowshera, police said.
