4 Kashmiri athletes to represent India in physically disabled men’s T20 series against England
Srinagar, Jan 22:In a momentous achievement, four Kashmiri boys have etched their names in cricket history by securing a spot in the Indian Physically Disabled Men’s Team for the upcoming five-match T20 series against England.
The cricketing talents, namely Wasim Iqbal, Amir Hassan, Jaffer Amin, and Majid Magray have earned the honour to don the national colours in the bilateral series set to take place in Ahmedabad from January 28 to February 6.
The announcement was made by the Differently Abled Cricket Council of India (DCCI), with the backing of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The inclusion of these young cricketers from Kashmir not only reflects their exceptional skills and dedication but also serves as an inspiration for aspiring talents across the region.
