2 drug peddlers arrested with cannabis in Gundoh

Ramban, May 27: Doda Police arrested two persons after they recovered cannabis (Charas) from their possession on Monday.

Police sources said a police team of Police Station Gundoh while patrolling in the Tipri area of Kahaljugassar area of Gandoh noticed two people roaming on motorcycles.

They said the motorcycle bearing registration number JK06-7847 was stopped for checking, but both people tried to flee from the spot however alert police personnel apprehended both persons.

During their physical search, cannabis (Charas) )-like substance was recovered from their possession.

Police said Mushtaq Ahmed son of Ali Mohammad and Nissar Ahmed son of Manwar Din Mir both residents of Soti, Tehsil Gandoh were arrested.

Both were booked vide case FIR No 60 of 2024 under section 8/20 NDPS Act, at Police Station Gundoh.
