On Thursday, eye sight and other parameters were checked in over 100 students, aged between 14-16 years  at GVEI. The camp was organized by the school administration in collaboration with Sharp Sight eye hospital in a bid to detect visual impairments early.

A large number of teachers also got their eyes checked.

School administration said that children, due to their increased exposure to mobile phones, television and other gadgets, were seen to have certain complaints such as pain in eyes, headache etc. The eye checkup camp they said was to assess their problems and then, in consultation with their parents suggest remedial measures.
