The president women’s wing, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Safina Beig and party’s youth president Waheed Ur Rehman Parra held a youth meeting in this central Kashmir district.

During the meeting the two leaders held interactions with youth from ChoontWali War, Wali War and Chanthen, Gulabpora areas of Ganderbal district, said a statement.

It said Para interacted with youth who presented a memorandum of demands which included issues like unemployment and playing ground facilities.

While interacting with the youth Safina Beigh said, “the youth are stakeholders to peace. It is endeavor of the present government to provide infrastructure and conducive environment in rural areas.”

She added, “The government will take all possible measures to improve standards and engage youth in pro developmental activities.”

During the interaction Parra listed the recent youth specific initiatives by the government. He added that government has a lot of schemes for empowerment of youth and to see the better future they should benefit from the schemes available with various departments.

The youth representatives of three areas including Sideeq Ah Mughal, Hilal Ahmad, Mohd Waseem Sajad and others were present on the occasion.
