BWF offers 4 ambulances to DHSK

The ambulances will be stationed at four different locations of the Valley vizSangrama in Baramulla, Qazigund in Anantnag besides Sanatnagar and Dargah in Srinagar district.

BWF offers 4 ambulances to DHSK

Borderless World Foundation (BWF) and Center for Research and Development Policy (CRDP) have donated four fully equipped cardiac and trauma care ambulances to the Health Services Department.

According to BWF spokesperson, BWF and CRDP in collaboration with the Directorate of Health Services Kashmir are launching Kashmir Life Line, a critical care emergency medical service in the valley.

The organization plans to provide effective and timely help in the emergency cases such as pregnancy complications, cardiac arrests, road traffic accidents, brain hemorrhage, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, food poisoning, burns, paralysis, psychiatric problems and respiratory problems, the spokesperson said, adding that “It is very essential to have Emergency Medical Services in place in order to cater such critical cases at the earliest.”

The ambulances will be stationed at four different locations of the Valley vizSangrama in Baramulla, Qazigund in Anantnag besides Sanatnagar and Dargah in Srinagar district. 

The organizations are planning to launch 15 such ambulances in the Valley by the end of this year.
