WLCI believes in providing students ‘a complete educational package’. There are three dimensions to education at the college.  The second dimension to education at WLCI is practical work experience. It is this experience that differentiates WLC College from the students of any other college. All post graduate students are provided with a unique Traineeship opportunity with one of WLCI’s industry partners giving them exposure to real work environment. This dimension to education gets students into the habit of ‘getting results’ early on in life and keeps them in good stead throughout their career ahead.
The third, and perhaps the most important dimension of education at the college, is the training students receive in skills and attitudes through the unique Cutting Edge Training Programme.
The curriculum of all WLCI courses is structured to match the course content taught in reputed colleges and universities abroad. Further, WLC College qualifications are recognised by Wigan & Leigh College, UK. WLCI This programme systematically arms students to pay special attention to two areas of their development – correct attitudes and personal skills. The highlight of the Cutting Edge Training is the special ‘boot camp’ where students are taught how to set, plan and achieve their requisite goals students have successfully transferred credits to some of the finest universities across the globe and thereafter even gone on to pursue further studies in several prestigious universities in UK, USA, Singapore, Australia and France to mention a few.
The USP of the college is its unique Traineeship Programme where students “earn while they learn” thereby gaining an insight of working in the industry and applying concepts learnt in the classroom to real life situations. In the words of   Vinay Pasricha, Chairman, WLCI India, “We go to the industry first, ask them what they want in their candidate and then customize curriculum to industry requirement. This exercise secures placements for our students”. The college has partnered with more than 300 leading national and multinational companies across all segments of the corporate world. The students not only work as trainees therein earning attractive stipends but also eventually get absorbed by them on successful completion of their programmes.
