2 women injured in dog attack

Officials said the stray dogs roaming in the area, attacked and injured two women in Branpathri Thune locality in Kangan tehsil.

Two ladies were injured after they were attacked by stray dogs at Thune in Kangan area of central Kashmir's Ganderbal district on Thursday. 

Officials said the stray dogs roaming in the area, attacked and injured two women in Branpathri Thune locality in Kangan tehsil.

The injured were identified as Hajira Begam (60) and Mariyam Begam (54)  of Branpathri Thune Kangan. They were rushed to a nearby health centre for immediate treatment. They were discharged after treatment. 

Locals demanded measures to control such incidents in future.
