Zahir, Zamin campaign for father Omar

Ganderbal, Sep 8: National Conference (NC) Vice President Omar Abdullah’s sons, Zahir and Zamin on Sunday started campaigning for their father who is contesting from the Ganderbal assembly constituency.

Both Zahir and Zamin have been seen attending election campaign meetings of the party with their father across the length and breadth of Kashmir, particularly since the recent parliamentary elections.

However, on Sunday both held meetings with party workers in Ganderbal and addressed them as well in the absence of their father for the first time.

As Omar was busy campaigning in Shopian for NC candidate Sheikh Rafi Ahmad, they said, “We want to meet the people and connect to them. Our main aim is to take the party manifesto to every household here.”

Addressing the party workers, they said NC is the voice of J&K.
