YSS leads successful day 3 of Kishtwar Trek

Kishtwar, Nov 27: The Youth Services & Sports Department Kishtwar successfully organised Day 3 of the Inter Zonal District Level Residential Trekking Expedition, witnessing vibrant participation from girl trekkers across different zones of the district.

The thrilling Day 3 journey, as per a DYSS statement issued on Thursday, commenced from the Base Camp and advanced through the scenic landscapes of Telmuchhi to Hargardh, offering the young trekkers an inspiring blend of adventure, endurance and learning. The event is being held under the dynamic guidance of District Youth Services & Sports Officer Kishtwar Jaffer Haider Sheikh and under the keen observation of ZPEO Kishtwar & Nagseni Sh. Suresh Chander Parihar, along with the dedicated support of field staff and officials of the Youth Services & Sports Department.

A key highlight of the day was the motivational and insightful address delivered by Army Captain Shiv Kumar, who shared valuable guidance with the young participants. With 30 years of rich experience in service and field operations, he emphasised the importance of discipline and teamwork, physical and mental fitness, safety protocols in mountainous terrain, Building self-confidence through adventure activities

His words left a deep impact on the trekkers, inspiring them to adopt a disciplined lifestyle and contribute positively to society.

As the day concluded, the atmosphere turned festive with a high-energy group dance performance, where students showcased their talent, enthusiasm and unity. The cultural event added joy and motivation, strengthening team bonding and boosting the morale of all participants.
