YSS Joint Director, Deputy Director Planning inspect youth facilities in Rajouri

Rajouri, Nov 27: Joint Director Youth Services & Sports (Jammu) Vinakshi Koul and Deputy Director Planning (YSS J&K) Megha Bhogia on Thursday inspected youth and sports infrastructure in Rajouri, reviewing facilities at the District YSS Office and Youth Hostel and issuing directions for upgrades.

During their visit, the dignitaries, as per a statement issued by DYSS, met with departmental staff and carried out a detailed inspection of both the District YSS Office and the Youth Hostel Rajouri, accompanied by District Youth Services & Sports Officer (DYSSO) Mohd Qasim.

The inspection focused on assessing the current functioning of the department and reviewing the condition of infrastructure facilities. Following the visit, the officials issued key instructions for the upgradation of the department, with a strong emphasis on strengthening infrastructure and improving facilities for youth engagement and sports development.

Speaking on the occasion, the officers highlighted the importance of modern, well-maintained infrastructure in empowering youth and promoting sports excellence across the district. They assured that necessary steps will be taken to ensure the department continues to serve as a hub of opportunity, growth, and unity for the young generation.
