YSS Bandipora continues refresher training course

Bandipora, Dec 13: Youth Services & Sports Bandipora continued the ongoing Refresher-cum-Training Course on Day-3 of the six-day training programme, involving officials and field staff from all five zones of the district at HSS Hajin and HSS Nadihal.

The six-day course, as per DYSS statement issued on Saturday, has been designed to systematically enhance technical skills, discipline, and operational efficiency among the staff through a balanced mix of classroom instruction and practical field sessions.

The programme is being conducted under the supervision of DYSSO Bandipora, Mr. Nazir Ahmad Bhat along with Mr. Ferooz ul Hassan activity incharge. Day-3 focusing on strengthening practical efficiency, teamwork, and leadership qualities among the participants.

Despite unfavourable weather conditions, the training progressed smoothly and without interruption, with sessions conducted both in classrooms and on the ground, reflecting strong coordination and dedication by the participants.

Softball Tactical Drills

Emphasis on match situations, movement coordination, and tactical awareness to improve game handling skills.

Rugby Skill Progression

Structured drills focusing on passing accuracy, team alignment, rule application, and physical discipline.

March Past & Command Training

Sessions aimed at improving posture, timing, leadership commands, and parade uniformity.

Classroom Orientation on Sports Management

Discussions on competition planning, resource management, safety protocols, and inter-zone coordination.

Nazir Ahmad Bhat appreciated the discipline and dedication displayed by the participants and reiterated that such structured six-day training programmes play a vital role in strengthening sports administration and effective on-ground delivery.
