Youth’s body found in Samba school

Jammu, Sep 24: Police Wednesday found the body of a local youth under mysterious circumstances in a government school in border village Chachwal in Samba district.

Sarpanch of the village told media persons that the body was first spotted by the teachers of the school in the morning and the matter was brought to his notice.

He identified the deceased as a local youth, working as mason - Vijay Kumar, son of Bishan Dass, resident of Chachwal.

“We immediately informed the Police. Given the circumstances, it seemed to be a murder case. He was a simple youth and had no enmity with anyone. The incident has created a sense of fear among the villagers. We hope that the Police will soon resolve this case and bring the perpetrators to justice,” Sarpanch said. Police shifted the body to hospital for post-mortem and launched investigation after registration of case in this connection.
