Youth injured in sharp-edged weapon attack in Baramulla, hospitalised

Srinagar, Dec 18: A youth sustained injuries after allegedly being attacked with a sharp-edged weapon in Ladoora area of Rafiabad in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday, officials said.

They said the injured male was initially taken to District Hospital Baramulla and later referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment. The victim suffered an injury to his right hand.

The condition of the injured is stated to be stable, they said.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to the attack. (KNC)
