Youth drowns to death in north Kashmir’s Pattan

Srinagar, June 09: A tragic incident unfolded in the Chanibal Pattan area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Monday, where a local youth lost his life due to drowning.

The deceased has been identified as Tajamul Hussain Dar, resident of Chanibal, Pattan, news agency JKNS reported.

He was reportedly found in an unconscious state after drowning and was immediately shifted to hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead, he said.

Authorities have taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation.
