Youth dies in Bishnah mishap

Jammu, Feb 26: A youth Monday died after he fell from a moving bus in Bishnah area of Jammu district.

Police identified the deceased youth as Vikram Lakhotra, son of Mohan Singh, resident of Bishnah.

“Vikram was standing on the rear side of the bus. The moving bus suddenly experienced a jerk and he fell off the bus in the middle of the road. He was immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital Bishnah, where the doctors declared him dead,” police said.

“The family did not allow the police to send his body for post-mortem. However, a case in this connection has been registered,” police said.
