Youth dead, 2 siblings injured in Ramban accident

Ramban, May 9: The driver of an electric auto died on the spot while his two brothers sustained injuries, when the auto in which they were travelling, plunged into a gorge near Malik Market Sangaldan on Thursday.

Police said an electric auto, bearing registration number JK19A-5873, on its way to Gool from Jammu, went out of control of its driver at Goirikhad Nullah, Gool and fell into a gorge.

“One person (driver) died on the spot whereas two others sustained injuries. They were rushed to PHC Sangaldan,” Police said.

Police identified the deceased auto driver as Tanveer Ahmed, 22, son of Abdul Latief Bhat, resident of Moila, Gool and injured as his siblings Tahir Ahmed, 24 and Sohil Ahmed, 26.
