Youth Affairs Ministry invites nominations for National Youth Award 2024

New Delhi, Aug 25: The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has invited online nominations for the National Youth Award (NYA) 2024, which recognises outstanding contributions by young individuals and voluntary organisations in national development and social service.

The award, given annually during the National Youth Festival, carries a medal, certificate and ₹1 lakh for individuals (aged 15–29 years), while selected organisations receive ₹3 lakh along with a medal and certificate.

Normally, up to 20 individual and five organisational awards are presented each year. Nominations can be submitted through awards.gov.in until September 30, 2025. Eligible applicants include those engaged in fields such as health, innovation, culture, human rights, community service, sports, education, and active citizenship.
