Young artists’ torchbearers of our cultural heritage: Tanvir Sadiq
Srinagar, Aug 3: Chief Spokesperson of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference and MLA Zadibal, Tanvir Sadiq, today inaugurated Flair Unleashed, a unique and inspiring art exhibition curated entirely by teenagers under the banner of the Fervent Flair Collective – Kashmir’s first teen-led and teen-curated art group.
Held at City Mall, Srinagar, the two-day exhibition features original artworks created by young artists who have channelled their creativity, emotion, and vision through powerful visual storytelling.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Tanvir Sadiq said, “in a place whose history is deeply intertwined with art and culture, it’s heartening to see young minds take up that mantle. Their talent and passion give us hope for a brighter, more expressive future. I congratulate Bazla and the entire team for this extraordinary initiative.”
“Young artists are the torchbearers of our cultural future, and their creativity deserves platforms that celebrate and elevate it. In a region where history breathes through art, their brilliance fills one with hope,” Sadiq said.
“The exhibition is more than a showcase of creativity – it’s a movement. The Fervent Flair Collective aims to offer an alternative path to young minds, especially in a time when many youth are vulnerable to harmful influences like substance abuse. The group believes in art as a transformative tool for expression, healing, and positive change.” The exhibition will remain open from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM till August 4, 2025.
