Yahya Khan wins gold medal in Srinagar District Boxing Championship

Srinagar, Dec 9: Srinagar District Boxing Championship 2024-25, was held at Indoor Sports Complex, Bakshi Stadium.

The championship was organised under the aegis of JK Amateur Boxing Association, Boxing Federation of India, J&K Olympic Association and was sponsored by J&K Sports Council.

Maqsood Ahmad Khan, Manager Indoor Sports Complex, Bakshi Stadium was the chief guest on the occasion. The championship was officiated by Khalida Bano & Farooq Ahmed (Boxing Trainer)

Boxers from different schools, hostels and other parts of the district took part in the championship

Medals and certificates were distributed amongst all the winning Boxers in different weight categories.

Among the winners, Mohammad Yahya Khan from Tyndale Biscoe School won a Gold Medal in a Sub Junior Category.
