Nowshera, Aug 18: A wreath laying ceremony was conducted by Kalal Battalion of Indian Army to pay tributes to late Lieutenant Colonel Kanwar Jaideep Singh (July 18, 1961 - August 18, 2002), Shaurya Chakra, Sena Medal.

The ceremony was conducted at Government Higher Secondary School, Seri and was attended by veterans, villagers, and senior military officials, who gathered to honor the sacrifices of a brave soldier who laid down his life fighting terrorists 22 years ago.

The wreath laying was carried out by the Commanding Officer, Kalal Battalion, and Commander, 80 Infantry Brigade, Nowshera in a poignant ceremony that remembered Lt Col Singh's exemplary courage and leadership.
