Women bike expedition for Nasha Mukt Seemayein, LG Sinha lauds initiative

Jammu, Mar 7: A delegation from the Shakti Udghosh Foundation, led by its convenor Preeti Choudhary, met Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday.

The delegation briefed Jammu and Kashmir LG Manoj Sinha about their Women Bike Expedition for "Nasha Mukt Seemayein" in J&K.

The expedition, organized ahead of International Women's Day, aims to raise awareness about drug-free border areas and empower women through adventure and social activism.

The Lieutenant Governor congratulated and lauded the female bikers and everyone associated with the foundation for their courageous efforts dedicated to accelerating action against drug abuse.

Notably, eighteen female bikers undertook a challenging journey from different parts of the country travelling along the zero-border line area.

The ride covered areas across the Ditch-cum-Bandh (DCB), International Border (IB), and Line of Control (LoC), spanning from Kathua to Poonch.
