Woman goes missing from LoC village in J-K's Poonch

Poonch, Nov 25: A woman, in her late 20s, has gone missing from a village near Line of Control (LoC) in border district Poonch with authorities have launched investigation into the matter suspecting crossing over from Line of Control (LoC).

Woman, aged 27-28, is identified as Fatima Bi, daughter of Faqeer Mohammad, resident of Kirni border village of Poonch.

As per official reports, the woman went missing from his native village of LoC after which a missing report was also registered in concerned police station.

Officials said that the incident has put authorities on toes as initial investigation suggest that the said woman has crossed over to other side of Line of Control (LoC).

Authorities reportedly are taking cognizance of matter under the relevant Egress and Internal Movement (Control) Ordinance.
