Woman dies after slipping into stream in J-K's Rajouri

Srinagar, Aug 20: A woman died after slipping into a stream as she was on her way from Dhok to Thanamandi in J&K's Rajouri, reports said Tuesday.

An official identified her as Khurshaid Begum, wife of Mohd Younis Thakkar, resident of Baryoon, Rajouri.

A woman from Baryoon Rajouri lost her life after slipping and falling into stream while traveling.

She fell into nallah and died after which locals recovered her body from it, the official said.

The police have taken cognizance of the incident, he said.
