Woman dies, 6 injured in Jammu road accidents

Rajouri, March 22: A woman was killed and six other persons injured in twin road accidents in Jammu today.

Police officials said an accident occurred when a minibus JK02BD 2499 , which was on its way to Jammu from RS Pura Kurliyan , turned turtle at Simbal Morh. Four passengers travelling in the vehicle were injured. They were taken to hospital where one of the injured, Suman Devi wife of Krishan Lal resident of Kurliyan succumbed to her injuries. Condition of other three injured person is stated to be critical and their treatment is going on in Government Medical College Jammu.

Three other people were injured in another road accident at Bishnah in Jammu district area. The accident occurred when an Ecco vehicle JK21B 8119 moving on main road in Bishnah town turned turtle in the middle of the road. Three youth travelling in this vehicle were injured. They were shifted for medical treatment and are stated to be out of danger.
