Woman attacks husband with knife in Baramulla, hospitalised

Baramulla, Oct 02: A shocking incident was reported from Old Town Baramulla, where a woman allegedly attacked her husband with a knife, leaving him critically injured.

Officials told news agency Kashmir News Corner --- KNC, The victim has been identified as resident of Mohalla Mir Sahib, Old Town Baramulla.

The altercation between the couple escalated, leading the wife to assault Rayees with a sharp-edged weapon, details stated.

He sustained serious injuries and was immediately shifted to GMC Baramulla for medical treatment.

Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation initiated.
