Woman, 2 minors found dead near Foreshore Road

Srinagar, July 27: Three bodies were recovered from the Dal Lake area of Srinagar on Saturday.

The deceased include a woman and two minor children. Police said that the bodies were discovered at the Foreshore Road near Shalimar Ghat.

According to a Police official in Srinagar, the victims included a 28-year-old female, and two minor children, one male and one female.

The Police have initiated proceedings under the relevant sections of the law and taken cognisance of the incident.

“Further investigation into the matter is ongoing,” the Police official said.

The bodies have been shifted to SMHS Hospital for post-mortem examinations to determine the cause of death.
