In a nearby village, Bashir Ahmad, a medical professional, too anticipating snow but when he walked out for Fajr prayers and saw no snow, he too returned disappointed.

When he was back home, Ahmad rang his friend in the Kilshay area of Tulail to check if they had any snow.

Given the place’s elevation, the area receives sufficient snowfall in the winter.

Ahmad was happy to know that the area had received very little snowfall.

“It was just too little,” Shadaab Kaloo of Kilshay said.

Jurniyal village in Tulail also received very little snowfall.
