He highlighted the proactive approach taken by the administration, with thorough reviews conducted in October to ensure that essential services are maintained throughout the winter months.

Reflecting on previous challenges, Biduri as per KNS noted improvements made in keeping major routes open despite heavy snowfall. "Last year, the Zojila Pass, which would normally be closed for 3-4 months, remained shut for only a month. Similarly, other critical routes like Razdan Top, Farkhiyan Gali, and Sadhna Top were accessible for extended periods," he said, emphasizing that resource allocation has been optimized for better resilience this year.

In terms of electricity supply, Biduri revealed that the administration has secured additional power compared to last year. He advised the public to avoid using crude wires due to fire risks and potential transformer damage. "Areas with smart meters are prioritized for 24x7 electricity as directed by the Chief Minister," he added, mentioning that around 50 feeders have been designated for this purpose.
