Will work with CM Omar for J&K’s progress: Rajnath Singh

New Delhi, Oct 24: Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory Omar Abdullah Thursday met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi.

This was the first meeting of Omar Abdullah as CM of J&K with the Defence Minister after he assumed his office on October 16.

During the meeting, Singh expressed the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government’s willingness to collaborate on the region’s progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“Met with the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah in New Delhi. The NDA Govt under PM Narendra Modi is looking forward to working with him for J&K’s progress,” Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said in a post on microblogging site X.

Earlier, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah met Home Minister Amit Shah, Minister of Roads, Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital.
