In the same breath, he stated that he would take up the issue with the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

“Since this (December 2) morning, I’ve been travelling criss-crossing these roads - from Srinagar to Poonch via Mughal road and then Poonch to Jammu via Rajouri. I have myself seen the dilapidated condition of roads. So, I will personally take up the matter with the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh as most of these roads are under control of Border Roads Organization (BRO),” he said, while responding to media queries.
