Will fight for welfare of poor, downtrodden: Usman Majid

Srinagar, Sep 14: Former Minister and MLA Usman Majid today said that he will fight religiously for the welfare of poor and downtrodden people of Bandipora.

According to a press release, he was addressing a series of meetings in various areas, including Ashtingoo, Arin, Dardpora, Ward No. 6, Kemah, Watapora, Malangam, Sumlar, Chuntimulla, Putushay, and other upper reaches. During these meetings, dozens of political workers from the Congress Party joined forces with Usman Majid.

In his address, Majid reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare and upliftment of Bandipora’s poor, downtrodden, and marginalised communities.

He emphasised that throughout his political career, he has focused on addressing the pressing issues affecting the most vulnerable in our community—those who have often been left behind in the development process.
