Will continue to work for statehood: Congress

Srinagar, Jun 28: PCC President Tariq Hameed Karra today said that his party will continue to work for restoration of the statehood.

According to a press release, he was addressing a workers’ convention at Chawalgam, Kulgam . Another senior party  leader G A Mir also addressed the convention.

The event marked the official launch of the Congress Party’s state-wide campaign, “Hamari Riyasat Hamara Haq” (Our State, Our Right), which demands the restoration of full statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.

In their speeches, both leaders reaffirmed the Congress party’s commitment to restore Jammu and Kashmir’s constitutional status and democratic rights.
