Will again move SC to fight for Article 370 restoration: Farooq Abdullah

Ganderbal, Sep 16: National Conference (NC) President Farooq Abdullah Monday vowed restoration of Article 370 and said that for this his party would again move to the Supreme Court.

Talking to media persons here in Ganderbal after addressing a party workers convention, Abdullah said, “We will fight for it not with stones or any such things but approach the Supreme Court again and will continue to do so.”

“A decision was given in our favour twice,” he said.

Abdullah said that the alliance between Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) and Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) was aimed at dividing the people.

Expressing suspicion over the brief bail granted to Rashid, he questioned why Rashid got bail for a brief period.

“They are BJP’s product only. Tell me why Rashid has been released for 20 days only. The people are quite aware of such tactics,” Abdullah said.
