Wild deer rescued from Teryath market

Rajouri, Dec 13: Police and locals of Teryath area in Rajouri district rescued a wild deer that had entered into a shop in the main market.

The animal was later freed in its natural habitat in forest.

Police officials said that on Wednesday afternoon, a wild deer was seen roaming in market of Teryath. It h later entered into a shop.

Traders informed police and a police team reached the spot. The deer was rescued.

Police said that the wild deer was kept in a vehicle and later freed in its natural habitat in a nearby forest.
