Wheel chairs handed over to specially-abled persons in Sopore

Sopore, Oct 14: Under the aegis of Civic Action Programme 2023-24, DIG NKR Baramulla Vivek Gupta distributed wheel chairs among specially-abled persons of north Kashmir range Baramulla. 

The distribution ceremony was attended by SSP Sopore Shabir Nawab, SSP Baramulla Amod Nagpure, SSP Bandipora Lakshay Sharma, SDPO Sopore Dr Raies Ahmad, DYSP DAR Sopore Dr Hilal Ahmad and other officers of police from police district Sopore.

On the occasion DIG NKR Baramulla interacted with all the specially-abled persons and assured them Jammu and Kashmir Police will always play its role in providing every possible support to the needy people. He said that under civic action support will be provided by police among needy people in future.

25 wheel chairs were distributed by DIG north Kashmir among the beneficiaries from three north districts Baramulla, Bandipora and Kupwara.
