Well Care Medical Institute conducts free Urology, ENT camp
Srinagar, Jan 28: Well Care Medical Institute (WMI) in Ahmad Nagar organized a free medical camp on Tuesday, featuring specialised OPD consultations in Urology and ENT departments.
A statement said that Dr Waseem Ashraf, a urologist who completed his MCh Urology from SKIMS, provided free consultations along with complementary diagnostic tests including uroflowmetry, urea/creatinine analysis, and urine examinations.
Patients presenting with various urological conditions such as prostatomegaly, urolithiasis, and urinary incontinence received treatment and counseling. Dr. Ashraf, formerly an Assistant Professor at K D Medical College, UP, has recently returned to Kashmir and will be available for regular OPD consultations and surgical procedures.
The camp also featured ENT services by Dr. Farah Deeba, who examined patients with conditions including earache, ear discharge, speech problems, hearing loss, and nasal blockages. Dr. Deeba, who holds an MS in ENT and Head & Neck Surgery from Government Medical College, Srinagar, and has previously served as Registrar/Senior Resident there, will also be available for routine consultations and surgical interventions.
Dr Masood ul Hassan, Medical Director of WMI, emphasized the institute's commitment to community healthcare, stating, "We have been continuously organizing various free medical camps previously also in addition to the present one so that the local population gets benefitted."
