Weather pleasant, no plan of summer vacations: Director School Education
Ganderbal, May 29: Director of School Education Kashmir Tasaduq Hussain Wednesday said that there was no immediate plan to announce summer vacations in schools across Kashmir as the “weather is pleasant”.
He said that there was no proposal for any change in the school timings in Kashmir.
“The weather is pleasant. It is 32 degrees Celsius,” Hussain told media persons during an interaction here.
He said that the government was monitoring the situation and would take a call in case of any extreme weather conditions.
Hussain said that the department wanted to make students resilient to weather vagaries and other tough conditions so that they become stronger to face any difficult situation in the future.
“If summer vacations are announced in May, what are we then going to do in June and July?” he said.
