We will form Govt in J&K with full majority: Ravinder Raina

Rajouri, Sep 05: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K President, Ravinder Raina Thursday said that the saffron party would form the new government in Jammu and Kashmir with a full majority.

After filing his nomination papers as a BJP candidate from Nowshera, Raina while addressing a public rally said, “The people from all sections of the society, both in Kashmir and Jammu, are supporting the BJP. There is a strong wave in favour of the BJP. We will form the next government in J&K with full majority.”

He said that the people had very well understood the evil designs of the Congress and NC to revive terrorism by releasing stone pelters and terrorists and would teach them a lesson in these elections.

“People of J&K rejected two former chief ministers, Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti in 2024 Lok Sabha elections and they will also reject Congress and NC in the assembly elections,” Raina said

He said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had insulted Dogra rulers and that people would teach both the Congress and the NC a lesson in these assembly polls.

“Only BJP can fulfil the aspirations of the people of J&K and people have full faith in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as they have seen tangible results on the ground and all-round development,” Raina said.

He also questioned Congress’ silence over NC’s manifesto and said that Congress should clear its stand on promises of NC like releasing terrorists and stone pelters and restoring the situation prior to abrogation of Article 370.

“Whenever Congress and NC have come together, they always brought destruction in J&K and pushed development on the back burner,” Raina said.

BJP’s J&K election in-charge Ram Madhav accompanied Raina while visiting the office of the Returning Officer for filing nomination papers.

BJP J&K General Secretary Vibodh Gupta filed nomination papers for the Rajouri assembly constituency while senior leader Muhammad Iqbal Malik filed his papers for the Thanamandi constituency.

BJP’s J&K incharge Tarun Chug was accompanying Iqbal Malik in Thanamandi.
