Waste management initiatives reviewed

Shopian, Oct 29: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Mohammad Shahid Saleem Dar today chaired a meeting at Mini Secretariat, Shopian with Rural Development Officers to discuss enhanced strategies for solid and liquid waste management under the Swachh Bharat Grameen (SBG) programme.

The meeting focused on the deliberating modalities for improved waste management and disposal mechanism, alongside strengthening forward linkages to ensure sustainable outcomes in sanitation measures in the district.
