Speaking in Pahalgam, Anantnag, the Lieutenant Governor Sinha acknowledged the long years of pain and neglect that many such families have faced and assured them of speedy redressal.

“I know you have been waiting for justice for many years. Today, I want to tell you that your wait is now over,” LG Sinha said.

The Lieutenant Governor outlined a two-pronged approach to support: employment for eligible family members and financial assistance for entrepreneurship. He directed that family members of those who lost their lives to terrorism and are entitled to government jobs should submit their cases to the concerned Deputy Commissioner (DC) immediately.
