Vote for PDF candidates: Hakeem Yaseen

Srinagar, Sep 09: Chairman Peoples Democratic Front ( PDF) Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen urged the people to vote for his party candidates.

He is himself contesting from Khansahib assembly constituency. According to a press release, Yaseen said construction of Sukhnag mini hydle power project, which has already received cabinet nod and technical clearance during the previous civilian government, was one of the top most priorities of his party.

He said development of Palmaidan as a major tourism destination will also be followed up with the new government.

Yaseen added that both these ambitious projects were pivotal for the socio - economic transformation of the entire khansahib and Raithan areas of Budgam district.

Addressing an election rally in Raithan area of Khansahib constituency Yaseen assured the people that construction of Sukhnag power project shall be taken up with the newly coming up civilian government on priority basis . He said the power project on completion will meet the local power requirements of the Khansahib area.

He said development of Palmaidan, as a major tourism destination, besides promoting tourism activities in the Raithan area , would open new livelihood opportunities for the local populace just like in Doodhpathri area . He said socio - economic emancipation of Khansahib constituency was the cherished mission of PDF which will be persued as an act of faith.
