Violation of model code of conduct | Lamberdar dismissed in Rajouri

Rajouri, May 14:  The District Election Officer Rajouri has dismissed from services a Lamberdar for violation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and joining a political party.

The dismissed Lamberdar is from Sagote village of Rajouri tehsil.

Dismissal order in this respect has also been issued by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri who is also District Election Officer.

It has been mentioned that an incident surfaced before administration that a Lamberdar has joined an active political party and is taking part in political events in violation of MCC.

" A report in this regard was sought from Assistant Returning Officer (ARO) Rajouri in which it has been established that MCC has been violated." the order reads in which it has been mentioned that the said Lamberdar from Sagote village namely Joginder Singh has been dismissed,”the order said.
